How to make pork crackling using pork crackling salt? 

Get the Ingredients: 

  • 24 cm pork rind (500g),
  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil, preferably olive oil,
  • 2-3 tbsp of pork crackling salt.

[ Ingredients including smoked kosher salt, anise, cloves, cinnamon, and other spices are the foundation for this excellent pantry item. ]

Steps: 

  1. Preheat oven to 220 C [If using an air fryer, cook at 200 C for 17-20 minutes] 
  2. Place pork crackling onto a rack over a baking dish. Place crackling rind-side up.
  3. Sprinkle pork crackling salt generously
  4. Roast for 60-80 minutes.

You can see small bubbles on the rinds, and looks golden brown and crispy. 

Once done, cut it into pieces after it has cooled down. Service as a side dish.
